Bonsly and Sudowoodo are fairly straightforward Pokémon with good stats. Sudowoodo has a very high Defense and Attack stat with very little Special Attack or Speed. Natures that increase their high stats or choose to raise their Special Defense stat to be well-rounded are viable options. This heavily depends on how players want to use Sudowoodo as it can be a strong Physical Attacker and a strong Physical tank. Adamant or Impish Nature are the best options for either playstyle.
Best Natures For Sudowoodo
Whether players want to maximize Sudowoodo's Defense stat, round out its Special Defense, or increase its Attack for more damage, there are two Natures to choose from for each option. This is because Sudowoodo's Speed and Special Attack are low, making them the prime stat to lower when deciding on a Nature. These are the pros and cons for each playstyle, as well as the two Natures for each one.
Defense Natures
Both the Relaxed and Impish Natures are the best Natures for a purely Physically defensive Pokémon. The Relaxed Nature increases Defense by 10 percent while decreasing Speed, and the Impish Nature increases Defense while decreasing Special Attack. Sudowoodo's highest stat is its Defense, so increasing it further makes it even more likely to tank Physical moves. Lowering Sudowoodo's Special Attack or Speed won't matter both stats are too low to matter. Sudowoodo can only learn a single Special move, so investing in Special Attack would just be a waste.

Special Defense Natures
To round out Sudowoodo's bulkiness, you can raise its Special Defense to withstand hits from both Physical and Special moves with no problem. The best Natures for this are Sassy and Careful. Sassy increases Special Defense by 10 percent while lowering Speed, and Careful increases Special Defense while lowering Special Attack. Given that Sudowoodo is a pure Rock Type Pokémon, it has five weaknesses and four resistances. These weaknesses are Fighting, Ground, Grass, Water, and Steel. It is also resistant to Flying, Normal, Poison, and Fire moves. Players can feel safer knowing their Sudowoodo can take more hits from Physical or Special moves.
Attack Natures
Adamant and Brave Natures will be the best choice for Attack raising Natures. Adamant increases Attack by 10 percent while decreasing Special Attack, and Brave increases Attack while lowering Speed. Sudowoodo has a very high Defense as it is high an impressive Attack stat. Raising its Attack guarantees fewer hits to KO opposing Pokémon. Sudowoodo also has access to many strong Physical moves, giving it coverage against all sorts of Pokémon.
It gets access to Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, and the very strong moves Head Smash and Wood Hammer. With Head Smash, Wood Hammer, Fire Punch, and Ice Punch, Sudowoodo has coverage for Fire, Flying, Bug, Water, Rock, Ground, Steel, Grass, and Dragon-Type Pokémon.
